You understand and agree that RACC’s use of these materials in the public domain may include, but not be limited to, billboards, print ads, TV commercials, web page and other types of promotional use.

Student Rights and Responsibilities

As an Advantage-TRIO student, you are eligible for (based on availability and budget funds):

  • Advising by an Advantage-TRIO staff member to create goals and track progress.
  • Academic, transfer, career, and financial planning as needed.
  • Participation in educational, cultural, and transfer trips to four-year colleges.
  • Info on Advantage-TRIO Scholarship and other scholarships (not all Advantage students are eligible for scholarships).

As an Advantage student, you have the responsibility to:

  • Complete your associates or certificate program within four (4) years of joining the Advantage-TRIO Program.
  • Meet with an Advantage-TRIO Advisor at least once per semester or more often depending on the individualized plan for the student.
  • Consistently and promptly respond to Advantage-TRIO staff communications. Regularly check your RACC email account.
  • Attend tutoring as recommended and needed by faculty and your Advantage Program Advisor. 
  • Attend at least one Advantage-TRIO Program workshop or event per semester.
  • Demonstrate effort in your courses by regularly attending class, completing assignments, and seeking your Advantage Program Advisor.
  • Work with your Advantage Program Advisor to maintain a 2.0 GPA or greater.  
  • Abide by all RACC policies, rules, and procedures.
